Membership/Activities

Catawba Prospectors GPAA Chapter offers different membership options. We also have different activities from single day outings to multiple day adventures.
Memberships

Single Individual Membership and Family Membership
​
We welcome everyone, individuals as well as family. We operate on donations.
Single Day Outings
Most of our single day outings are local events. We meet at a pre-designated meeting place in the morning and head out to the pre-determined outing location. We then put some lesser experienced folks with the more experienced to ensure that everyone has something to take home.
Multi Day Adventure
Occasionally we will schedule multiple day / camping outings. These outings are much more special because of the great story telling around the campfire after a day of prospecting.
Most of these outings are free to members, while pay-to-dig outings are availble at group discounted rates.
